Military Ballots Not Counted?

Will Thousands of Military Ballots Not be Counted?

Military_votes

Several Republican lawmakers have expressed concern regarding the military mail service used to process the ballots, saying it could possible take 14-50 days after the election to arrive.

“We write to express concerns over another serious failure by the Department of Defense to safeguard the voting rights of our overseas military service members, which we believe could result in the imminent disenfranchisement of thousands,” stated a letter sent to Defense Department Secretary Leon Panetta  by Sens. John Cornyn, R-Texas, Kelly Ayotte, R-N.H., John McCain, R-Ariz., Rob Portman, R-Ohio, and Marco Rubio, R-Fla..

The lawmakers said the problem could be solved by modernizing the military mail and centralizing mail redirection, but clearly it will have to wait until the next election cycle to fix.

This election was stolen pure and simple. Were I in the military,
I would be fightin' mad that I fight to protect everyone's vote and mine doesn't count!

What part has the advantage when military not counted? YES, democrats. The military generally votes conservative which is why their votes are discouraged. If a plane goes down with ballots ... you send new ones. Or, you develop a secure computer vote that would take minutes.

With all this being true---we have an election system that is a joke. Obama himself should ask for a recount. However, with Obama being a Markist/Sociali st as he states in his books and wishes to take this country the way of Europe and the Far East, he will never do so. I only hope we can keep the Repuplic, the good old USA together while the next 4 years play out. Hopefully the Republicans can stop the issues Obama will try to put in place

I think the whole voting system was fixed so that Oboma could do a second term it seems that money talks and the big boys make the decision as usual Note when you have a voting machine that works like if you vote for Romnie and the vote goes to Oboma sounds fishy to me.

Instead of complaining, what can we the people do to stop the military from not being counted? If someone gives me an idea, I don't have a problem with stepping up but one voice is not enough :(

We are Not represented, we are sheep for their slaughter we mean nothing more to them than the money they can take for themselves. We tried to regain our freedom in a representative republic, but I fear it has now forever been stolen from us by the very people that are swarn to defend it. And the Press looked on telling their untruths and hiding the true nature of those that we put our trust and faith in. And now the false man holds the highest office again while dismanteling the things that our forefathers built, fought and died for

After Florida 2000, you'd think that GW Bush and his rubberstamping Republican Congress would have fixed the military balloting issues. But, these issues occurred again in 2002/2004/2006/ 2008. That should tell you something about Cornyn & Comany's supposed "altruism" here.

Great example of how government is inefficient and should not be put in charge of more than it is already doing. Thus stands the conservative view of government. Thanks.

We've voted in a disgraceful Republican (lame duck) congress whose only thought is riding that gravy train and doing nothing else.
Speaker of the house John B. is a public cry baby and wimp and a disgrace and not worthy of his position.

Why would you think we have a Republican Congress? The obstructionist Senate Dems are still in control in one house of Congress. Maybe this time they'll pass a budget. It's only been 3.5 years since they passed their last one. Funny how House Repubs have passed a budget, but Senate Dems won't. Curious, huh?

But the military is not saying any of this. All this article says is the the politicians are saying that the votes are not going to make it and not be counted.

A little fraud here a little fraud there. It all adds up. The Dems find the best fraud is not to count the votes at all. A plane crashes in Afghanistan and ballots are burned. Military votes don't get counted. Ballots never arrive. They are dying for lies and they can't even vote. What a joke. A HAARP man made storm called Sandy hits the largest population center in the US just before the election. Millions can't vote. Even if you do vote they can flip it with their fancy new vote flipping machines. The Democrats only care about voter disenfranchisem ent when they lose. Don't hear anything in this election and you know how the Dems can whine. Lots of coincidences. If Obama did not steal this election then Romney would have. So would you like your shit sandwich on the light or dark rye? That's the choice between Romney and Obama.

Reality Check. . if that is your real name. . . :-| , really, it has nothing to do with who won. The point is that those votes, from the men and women who do the most for our country, were not counted . . .essentially their voices were not heard.

Wrong Reality Check! His total was 303, and overturning OH and FL, which is going to happen if the GOP has any cojones, will make Romney President!

Total is 332 now, when you include FL. OH (18 EV) + FL (29 EV) = 47. Romney's 206 + 47 = 253. Still not enough.
